LOS ANGELES, Calif. (June 11, 2013) -- Jeremy Sanders fired rounds of 66-67-69-66--268 to win by six shots over Niall Platt and large field at the 96th annual Los Angeles City Men's Championship.

The event featured a cut after 36 holes with the last two rounds played on the Wilson Course at Griffith Park.

Sanders, who recently wrapped up a solid junior year at Pepperdine, was one shot up on Platt entering the final round and fired a final-round 66 to win with ease.

Platt, a Notre Dame junior, made a run with weekend rounds of 68.

In the final round, Sanders separated himself from the field. He punctuated the win and his final-round 66 with a 40-footer on No. 18.

Mark Anguiano managed rounds of 66-67-73-70--276 to take third place, one shot ahead of Paul McNamara III and Rico Hoey, who closed well with rounds of 66 and 69, respectively.
