MIDLOTHIA, Virg. (June 21, 2014) -- Ben Keefer used steady play to take care of Alex Sleeker in one semifinal, and Griffin Clark birdied the first extra hole to defeat Michael Redwood in the other as both golfers earned their way to the Richmond Amateur final Sunday at Salisbury CC.
Keefer defeated Paras Pandya in the morning quarterfinal, 5 and 4.
Sleeker took care of Steve Serrao 2-up to earn his match against Keefer.
In the other quarterfinal, Redwood defeated Allan Day 2 and 1 and Clark beat Larry Loving, Jr. 7 and 5.

Richmond Amateur
The format of this competition will be 18 holes of
stroke play qualifying,
resulting in the low 80 scores advancing into match
play competition. These qualifiers
will be put into flights by their qualifying scores.
There will be 32 players in the
championship flight and 16 (or eight based on
participation) in each of the three lower
flights.
