The No. 4 ranked South Carolina Gamecocks ran away from the field at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate at Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn.

The win was the 28th all-time by head coach Kalen Anderson, and it also marks the team’s 14th win in the past five seasons.

The Gamecocks won by 27 shots, shooting rounds of 276-281-276 to get to an incredible 31-under.

According to South Carolina athletics, The team’s 18-hole scores of 276 on day one and day three are tied for ninth lowest in school history. The team’s 54-hole total of 833 and 31-under is the second-lowest tournament score in program history.

Oregon finished in solo second place at 4-under, and Wake Forest finished in solo third place at 3-under.

In the individual competition, Hannah Darling held off teammate Louise Rydqvist by one shot to win at 14-under. Darling carded rounds of 67-67-68 to secure the win. Rydqvist carded rounds of 69-68-66 to get to 13-under.

The teammates were tied at 12-under standing on the No. 17 tee, but two birdies from Darling on No. 17 and No. 18 gave the 2024 Curtis Cupper the win.

Darling is ranked No. 14 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com Women's Rankings, while Rydqvist is ranked No. 5.

According to South Carolina, Darling’s 54-hole total of 202 is a new career low mark and is the third-lowest 54-hole tournament score in program history, behind All-American Pauline Roussin Bouchard, who shot 202 at The Ally in 2020.

The Gamecocks were awarded an LPGA sponsor exemption into The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Golf Club in November, and the team selected Rydqvist to represent South Carolina.

Carolina Lopez-Chacarra of Wake Forest finished in solo third place at 10-under.
