Nolan Kuszyk and Nicola Kaminski took home the titles at the 2025 Nipomo Amateur at Monarch Dunes in Nipomo, Calif.
Kuszyk carded rounds of 68-68-71 to get to 6-under. His final round even-par 71 was with a double bogey on No. 18 and a bogey on No. 18 to fall to 6-under but still hold onto the two-shot lead.
Kuszyk recorded 15 birdies, five bogeys, and two double bogeys. The big moment of the tournament for Kuszyk came on the front nine of the second round, where he recorded five birdies to propel him to the top of the leaderboard.
Tyler Ashman and Jaden Hunter finished T2 at 4-under, and Zachary Mate finished in solo fourth place at 3-under. Six golfers finished T5 at 2-under to round out the top ten.
Nicola Kaminski of San Jose State defended her 2024 Nipomo Championship with a dominating wire-to-wire victory this year, shooting 5-under with rounds of 68-70-70. Kaminski was the only golfer under par for the tournament, and her three under-par rounds were the only under-par rounds in the tournament.
Rori Fanning and Katelyn Kong finished T2 at 11-over, while Sammie Miller finished in solo fourth place at 13-over and Sarah Yoo finished in solo fifth place at 14-over.
Kaminski, a redshirt senior at San Jose State, put together a great 2024 season, winning the 2024 San Francisco City Golf Championship, the 2024 Nipomo Amateur Women’s Championship, and the 2024 Alameda Commuters.
