Jim Williams eagle propels him to medalist honors at SF City Super Senior qualifying

For the second year in a row, Jim Williams earns medalist honors at the 2025 San Francisco City Super Senior stroke play qualifying round at TPC Harding Park Golf Course in San Francisco, Calif.

Williams shot the lone round under par, recording two birdies, three bogeys, and an eagle to finish with a round of 1-under 71 and secure medalist honors by two shots.

The Orinda, Calif., native also earned medalist honors last year.

Matt Vukicevich finished in solo second place at 1-over, and Ray Kong, Bob Burnett, Steve Hoyt, and John Test all finished T3 at 4-over.

Contestants will play an 18-hole qualifying round on Wednesday, March 19, from which the top 16 finishers will advance to match play, which starts on Thursday, March 20. All rounds will be played at TPC Harding Park.

Open to the first 48 entries received. Participants must have an index of 9.4 or lower as of the date of entry and must have an age of 65 or older as of the first day of the tournament. Qualifying will consist of one 18-hole stroke play round (Wed Mar 19) after which the Men's Super- Senior Championship Flight will consist of 16 contestants.

In case of ties, there will be a card off to determine the players who will advance to match play. Individual scores will determine seeding for match play. All rounds will be played at TPC Harding Park Golf Course.

Match play is scheduled for Thu-Fri Mar 20-21 with the semis and finals on Sat-Sun Mar 22-23.

WITHDRAWALS AND REFUND POLICY
Players needing to withdraw should do so by filling out the form at sfgolfchampionship.com/contact/ . Players withdrawing before the entry deadline of February 18 will receive a refund of their entry fee minus $50. There will be no refunds after the entry deadline.
